Meet the Founders

Chris Toews

Co Founder & Managing Partner

Chris Toews {pronounced Taves} is the co-founder and Managing Partner of Repatriation Global. He is a resident of Atlanta, GA, and has more than 15 years experience directing humanitarian relief and development programs internationally. He has strong expertise in emergency crisis management and logistics, government relations and insurance protocols.

He has worked overseas in a variety of humanitarian contexts reaching from war-torn Sudan to disaster-stricken Haiti, the Middle East, Subsaharan Africa and Asia. Responsible for humanitarian response teams and their wellbeing in hard to reach places, Toews has navigated the repatriation and medical evacuation process many times and is acutely aware of the dynamics that these situations create.

From an early age, Toews has lived internationally including South Sudan, Sudan, Kenya, Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo—attending language school in the South of France and British boarding school. With an extensive network, both professionally and personally, he is uniquely situated to provide logistical expertise to ensure the repatriation process goes as smooth as possible.  As a family man, Toews attributes a deeper meaning to his logistics work, aiming to ensure that no family should ever have to walk through this experience alone in the wake of a tragedy.
